And you will probably have better luck selling on craigslist unless you are in the middle of nowhere. Shipping is a deal breaking for bikes that are not worth a whole lot.

Not sure, they've been in our garage forever. The mother is afraid of every single serial killer on CL so eBay would ease her mind a bit. Would it be best to take them to a bike store to have them check over and maybe tuned if necessary? How much would that affect the price?w

The yellow one looks like a schwinn varsity 10 speed. mid-late 70's "chicago" Shwinn. Most bikes with the dropped tube top tube (girl) tend to be.... worthless. If their are functional (decent tires, cables, chain, bearings, brake pads) they are worth 50-100$ each. If any of those items are in poor shape- the are worth $25-$50.

Shipping bikes is expensive (~100$). I would use craigslist.
